Recent polling shows that Congressman English performs worst among people who know him best.

In his home base of Erie County, he was trailing Kathy in a poll by a margin of 57% for Kathy, 31% for English. It's clear that as the rest of Pennsylvania's Third Congressional District learns what Congressman English has been up to they will agree that:

After 14 years in Congress, Phil English has become part of the problem in Washington.

• Congressman English came to office as a strong supporter of term limits and he even pledged to serve no more than 12 years when he signed Newt Gingrich's Contract with America. Now he's finishing his 14^th year in Congress.

• Congressman English voted for unfair trade deals which make it easier for companies to ship American jobs to countries like China and Mexico.

• Congressman English has taken more than $189,136 from big oil and gas and voted to give them $13 billion in special tax breaks. Taxpayers gave English more than $11,000 to reimburse him for his gas expenses last year - no wonder he doesn't realize we're getting killed at the pump.

• Congressman English has let seniors down by taking thousands from the drug lobby and then voting against lowering the cost of prescription drugs for seniors. And English voted repeatedly to raid billions of dollars from the Social Security Trust Fund.

After 14 years in Congress, Phil English has become part of the problem in Washington. It is time to take our country in a new direction and elect Kathy Dahlkemper to represent Pennsylvania's Third Congressional District.
