  • Congresswoman Dahlkemper has brought more than $175 million dollars back to the 3rd District since being elected to office.
    • Approximately $165 million is from the Recovery Act.
    • Did you know that more than 300 permanent jobs were created thanks to the Recovery funds and hundreds more ‘temporary’ jobs in areas like construction, home energy installation, etc.
  •  Did you know that Crawford County has received more than $26 million in Recovery funds:
    • $360,000 for the City of Meadville
    • $187,000 for Allegheny College
    • $98,000 for Sadsbury Township
    • $33,000 for Vernon Township
  •  18 projects valued at over $18.5 million were awarded Appropriations funding. 
  • Did you know that Congresswoman Dahlkemper has been working overtime to see that the Mead Ave Bridge Project is finally completed.
  • Did you know that Congresswoman Dahlkemper’s office has responded in writing to over 50,091 letters and emailsDid you know that Congresswoman Dahlkemper’s office has handled over 700 constituent cases.
  • Did you know that Congresswoman Dahlkemper has written 15 pieces of legislation, successfully passed into law 6, 4 of which were included in the Health Reform bill.  
  •  Congresswoman Dahlkemper has had more of a footprint on the healthcare bill than any other freshmen legislator.
  • Did you know that she has written 11 amendments to proposed legislation, 10 of those amendments passed. Among the most notable include banning excess executive compensation for those employed by firms receiving TARP.
  • Did you know that she is part of small, but effective group of fiscally conservative legislators who are responsible for returning PAYGO to government.
  • Did you know that the highly respected, non-partisan National Journal named Dahlkemper the 8th Most Centrist Democrat of 2009.
